another year gone, but a new one's just begun
that's a cliche if ive ever heard one....
but i think that new years is overrated - i mean yea its sorta fun to reflect on the past years events and whatnot and remember stuff, but the whole drinking/partying part is overrated. its just another day really, a new day to put up that new wall calendar (which i have to get one by the way) but now its so commericalized, along with christmas and every other holiday out there - anything the industry will do to make a buck....
tomorrow my mom and i fly back to NY - it was a good week to basically do a whole lot of nothing at grandma's - just chilling out, sleeping, shopping, and a lot of nothing else really. i mean i do sleep and do a lot of nothign at home anyway, and i wouldve been going to work this week, but it was nice to just have a little of a change and get out of the house and of course see grandma. i want to go back home but i dont - for the obvious reasons of not wanting to go back to work (but well the bills object to that notion) and well getting paid is a reason to go back.... but things out here are so much more relaxed and less stressful and people are so much nicer out here - but i know that i would definitely miss NY after awhile- and my kitties of course. i know that lucy wont let me out of her site when i get home.
as soon as i get home tomorrow I MUST DO LAUNDRY considering i have no sheets on my bed , so i need to have something on my bed so tht i can sleep in it.... ummm my bed :) and sunday im probably gonna be busy and i know that my mom said that shes gonna do laundry and such...luckily i did some laundry here at grandmas this week so i wont be going home with a ton of dirty clothes.
i FINALLY got my converse sneakers! YEA!!!!!! hehehe
i know that sounds like not a big thing, but i used to have a pair in HS and i wore COMPLETELY OUT. and i have wanted to get a new pair since the middle of the summer and every store ive gone to that has a decent selection of colors i like, dont have any small sizes (since they are guys sizes, i need like a size 4) and so i went to the mall by my grandma;s cause i had to exchange this zip up jacket at hollister and i saw that the journey's store across the way had converse sneakers, so i went in and they had my SIZE!!! and its so funny cause i got the same style and color that i had in HS! i didnt mean to but i really did like the color (the deep red, maroon color) and they are the low ones... so i was like cool and creepy at the same time.... ha so im happy! and i got this aewsome shirt - ill have to post pics as soon as i get home.
well we have to leave at a decent time tomorrow so i should get some sleep.
