At work today, so I'll keep this short'n'sweet.
Sent in my lease, signed, with the security deposit today, so I think it's fair for me to gleefully state that I have an apartment in Durham as of September 1st! I couldn't be happier about the state of that; I need to find a storage unit for August, but if I don't have time to call places this week, I'll be able to call around in the first week of July, since I'm out of work for half the week to hang out with Pip Cripps, everyone's favorite kid =).
And, on a completely random narcissistic note, I wanted to pose a question of you kids out there in LJ land: is there a song, are there any songs, that make you think of me? Memories of me, that whole thing, but also songs that perhaps embody my general sassiness? I'm just rocking out to my iPod and there are definitely songs that remind me of specific individuals or with characters in them that are vaguely reminiscent of the characters in my life, and I just wondered if anyone out there gets similarly inspired, but in the me-type direction.
