So it has become eminently clear to me that progression in this position is not an option. As a result I have been doing the job search. I found one very interesting prospect that I am following up aggressively, everything else is, bleah, good enough, but probably not much better than this.
So I applied to Grad school. Which was sort of a fall back option. All that practice putting together funding and applications in college paid off. I got my application together in less than a week. I just did the interview and I'll know whether or not I got in on November 15th.
