Hmmm....what to talk about
What a waste of weekend, at least work-wise. I got some of the prisoner outfits done on Friday, but beyond that, I didn't get any other shit done. But I earned it. For the past month, I've worked my ass off week in and week out. It was about time that I just lounged around for a couple days and not bother to do anything productive. So how was the weekend? Pretty cool.
On Friday, we had the usuals(by that I mean Kellen, Steph, Jen, and you guys), plus Dave, Bethany, and two other people over, but we were down by one. Mike decided to go up to Wickenburg for the night. I was planning on going up there to since I haven't seen my mom in a few weeks, but she said to just forget about it because it was going to be raining all weekend. Anyways, it was a pretty cool time, though I just wasn't into it that much. I was extremely tired from getting like 4-5 hours of sleep everynight for the past two weeks.
So on Saturday, me, Trav, and Kellen decided to hit up some Panda. Man, you can never go wrong with the Panda. But after lunch, Kellen had to do some things, so we said later to him and headed out to do some shopping, a hell of a lot of shopping. That was quite an expensive day for me. I had to get another phone because my old one broke. Don't you love insurance plans where you still have to pay $50 to get your phone replaced. Hell, I should have just bought a new phone. I also got myself a jacket which I'm really diggin, it fits me well. It probably seams pretty stupid to get a jacket now, but I'm gonna need it for when I go to San Francisco is a couple weeks and Santa Monica for my interhsip. You'd be surprised how could it gets right up on the coast even during the summer.
So that night we went over to Steph's and had some fun. They had a few off their friends over and we played some Tony Hawk and Red Faction and smoked some hookah. Jessica made her usually 15 minute appearance and was off. I think I'm really starting to become pretty good friends with Steph, Jessica, and Jen, though Jen's always so quiet that you never quite know what she's thinking. It's kinda hard to tell if she's having fun, tired, or bored, though I can't blame her. I'm the quiet type too.
Oh yeah, this is kinda off topic, but you wouldn't believe how amazing this one girl that started this semester at UAT is. I was working in the commons this past Thurs, trying to get some of the prisoner head models done and she sat down at the computer next to me, and all I can say it Wow! But for some reason I always tend to make an idiot of myself when I'm talking to extremely hot girls and I didn't dissapoint this time. Let's just say it involved me trying to sit down, missing my chair completely, and landing hard on my ass. I swear, I just cannot get ahold of myself when a really hot girls talking to me. Luckily, she was pretty cool about and didn't make me feel like too much of a dumbass. I don't know, there were some definite sparks there. I'll have to see where it leads, if anywhere.
As for today, I need to get some work done, big time. I'm gonna update tonight with a render of the current model I'm working on. So I hope you guys like. It's good to have people outside of my profession look at my work. People that work in the profession as me tend to critique on more of the technical things, not the overall picture. I'm guilty of this to when I look at other people's work, but I also try to look at the full apect of their work. Oh man, it's already 4 in the afternoon. Today's already more than halfway over and I still haven't done anything productive. Talk to ya later guys.
