Okay, so back to my Backstreet adventure! I was kidding with boomingvoice before the Atlantic City soundcheck, telling her that I would be mortified if they recognized me from the day before and uh, they did. This is how the second encounter in as many days went between the Boys and I. Bri was first and then I went after her! Once again, Nick was first in line and stuck out his hand.
Nick: Hey, I'm Nick. Nice to meet you.
Me: Hi, I'm Nina. Nice to see you.
Then, he looked at me a little funny and I handed him my signable things again. I'm assuming it was in recognition because then AJ:
AJ: Hi, AJ. Nice to meet you.
Me: Hello. I'm Nina, nice-
And he cuts me off:
AJ: We met at yesterday's soundcheck, right?
Me: Yes, we met yesterday in Connecticut.
Nick: Oh, hi! Yup, we met yesterday!
Nick gave me a little grin and I died.
Howie: Hi Nina, nice to see you again.
Brian: Hey there, thanks for coming again.
So, then I get ready to take the picture with them again. AJ was on my right and Howie on my left. AJ!!!!!! He's so cute. After our picture was snapped, he whispered in my ear, "Darlin', it was really nice seeing you again."
OMG. I THOUGHT I WAS DEAD. But then, I realized that he was RUBBING MY BACK when he was whispering, and then I really died. For real. But somehow I managed to squeak out, "You too. Thank you." And then I took my things from Brian and went off to find Bri to squeal in her ear about it! BECAUSE A BACKSTREET BOY CALLED ME DARLIN' WHILE RUBBING ME DOWN AND IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!!
