I am slowly, but surely trying to get everything uploaded, but in the meantime, read about my meet and greet experience from the soundcheck in Connecticut (stolen from my personal journal, so I apologize to those who are seeing this again! :P)
Okay. So, a lot has happened between the Boys and I these last few days and it was all awesome. I hit two shows and two VIP soundchecks all in two days. It was a whirlwind and these Boys are so nice. This was my first face-to-face meeting with them and really? They couldn't have been nicer, cuter or dorkier!
Then it was time for the meet and greet! Nick was first in line and stuck out his hand for a shake and my exchange went like this:
Nick: Hi, I'm Nick, and you are?
Me: Nina, nice to meet you!
Nick: Can I sign something for you?
So I hand him my signable things and then:
AJ: Hi! What's your name, honey? *hand shake*
Me: Hi! Nina, nice to meet you!
AJ: You know, I went to high school with a girl named Nina.
Me: Oh, really?
Meanwhile, Nick is just watching me and smiling at me and it's nice, because, HELLO, he's so cute!
Nick: Nina? I think I went to middle school with a Nina.
Howie: You must be Nina, then? Nice to meet you!
Brian: Hey, you're name isn't Nina, is it? *giggle*
We all laugh and it is WONDROUS. So basically, there is lots of dorkery. Then AJ again! He was telling me I had a pretty name and Nick is nodding and then I guess the picture taker wanted to take our picture and no one was paying attention, except Nick. So Nick taps me on the shoulder, "Hey Blondie, want a picture?"
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE CALLED ME BLONDIE! AND I WAS DEAD ON THE FLOOR. *hearts*
Then I said, "Blondie? What about you?"
And we all laughed again!!!! I took my picture then Brian handed me my signed stuff and I moved it on out. But all in all, that soundcheck was awesome. And I was called Blondie by a fellow Blondie and it was AMAZING.
