Sorry. Nick had an australian radio interview, and it is SO GOOD. And by SO GOOD I am of course going a bit overboard, but, you guys? YOU GUYS. To be perfectly utterly honest, I was NOT too big a fan of 2007!Nick. I bit my lip and looked hard at pictures and remembered he had an ass-ish period when he was sixteen but outgrew that into his glorious glorious 21-23 year old self. And NOW! Now, 2007!Nick is in the past! 2008!Nick, he sounds better. I HAVE HIGH HOPES.
the interview
Bits that made me very happy:
-he's doing stuff with Brent again! Brent (from my observations) is generally a good influence
-he's going to do more solo stuff, period!
-his voice is so LOW! Oh, nicky!
-he sounded so GOOD! cheerful! And not bullshitty! And stuff!
-and, my heart. he said howie was his best bud in the group! it was kinda weird to see him taken away! oh, NICK. HOWARD. YOU BOYS. WHY ARE YOU LOVELY LIKE THAT?
-he's sort of open to the idea of a gf again. Thank GOD. rampaging single nick is, frankly, horrific. Please please get a really great girl, nick. I'm not sure I could bear to see/hear/know asshole!you again. I don't know how much a person can change in a month, but maybe some new year resolution, turning-over-a-new-leaf type thing was involved here--one can only pray. I, just--Yeah. You and I, babe, we could not continue this thing long-term if you'd stayed the way you were last year. :\
and, though y'all are most likely already a part of the mother community, I urge you to wander over and check out Nick eating. And being scruffy. YAY.
