(no subject)
spring break is over. i didn't do anything at all for school last week. i feel a little out of it and a little behind. i definitely have tons to do this week and the coming weeks. i did do a lot of climbing last week. i am really getting anxious for summer to come... or at least for the f'ing snow to melt. we had even more snow the other day. yesterday's high was 22. wtf? will winter ever end? i knew that winter was long here ... but this is crazy. there was snow on the ground in october here and it has been there ever since. count it people. that is a full six months and it won't be fully gone for another month. that is SEVEN out of twelve months with snow on the ground. holy muther. i love a couple winter sports... so i don't mind it that much. i can't even imagine how much you'd hate it here if you didn't like to ski or something. on a side note, my sister and rick now live in NC and it has been 85 there for the past 5 days. that = me jealous.
mad and i are planning a month-long bike trip next winter some time. we're not sure yet where, but we might ride from phoenix to guatemala. i have heard, though, that mexico can be kind'a shady. so who knows? the thing that i like about the whole thing is that i can fly to phoenix for about 200 bucks and be into mexico in less than a week. and mexico is a pretty amazing country. everything that i have seen of it is beautiful and i have never experienced anything bad... but i have never been wandering the countryside either. i will have to do some more research before i decided to believe the hype. anyone ever heard anything about biking through mexico?
oh. and if anyone who is into climbing is reading this... i am one move away from completing my first V6. that is a big step for me. up till now i have been developing my strength. now i'm strong enough to do pretty much anything in the gym, but now i have to refine my technique to the point where i can do more difficult stuff.
mad has been making jewelry lately with beads and knitting wire. the shit looks bonkers. it is really, really cool. she wants to end up selling some of her stuff. i think that she could make some good money. she wants me to take some pics. i'll post 'em later.
it's off to school with me now. ugh.
