"Why did you take the children?" Jack asked, bringing up the topic that'd been bothering him ever since he'd seen the kids in front of his cage.
"They were alone."
"They had us. We would have taken care of them." It was the truth, although Jack knew how hard it was to keep Aaron alive. Yet still … He felt bad for leaving them with the Others.
"Ben takes care of them," Juliet said, as if she'd read his mind. "We - they need them."
"But it's not right."
"I know." Juliet sighed and this time Jack knew (felt) that she was finally one of them; someone he could trust.
