It’s still dark, when Rose wakes up from a nightmare. He watches her as she slowly leaves her bed and follows her on her short walk to the place she’s been visiting every morning for a whole week now. Patting his head, she tries to calm him down, but even when Hurley and Ben find him hours later he wouldn’t stop whining until they’ve buried Rose next to Bernard (and not far away from Jack’s grave).
Sighing heavily, he then lies down and closes his eyes, knowing that his work is done and that it’s time to get some rest.
