His hands pressed against his side, Jack slowly walks through the jungle. He knows this will be his last walk on this island.
Slowly, he sinks down on the ground. His hands can no longer stop the blood that darkens his shirt with every heartbeat- like it had done right after the crash. Back then Kate had sewed him up fixing him in a way that lasted a lifetime. He misses her but he knows he’ll see her again.
Smiling, Jack closes his eyes. He isn’t scared anymore.
Knowing that their suffering, the deaths weren’t for nothing makes dying easier.

He should be relieved. Why isn't he?
He just did what he'd wanted to do his whole life. Why isn't he happy?
He's confused, angry ... He should feel free. Why can't he?
He killed the man that once ruined everything. That's what he'd wanted, isn't it?
But he has done it for John Locke - not for himself.
And that makes him a killer. A hatched man. A puppet on a string.
He cries, because he knows it will haunt him for the rest of his freaking life - and beyond ...
