Better safe than sorry ... Just to prevent another sleepless night because I have the feeling I lost my icons ;) Here are my 20 icons for the fourth round at ncis20in20. Subject: Faith Coleman/Alicia Coppola
Thank you ;) Laughing is one I made three times and still didn't like it in the end, so I used the fist version. Same with AC5 - I had another cap, but Mark looked so weird on that one that I had to use another one.
Well ... GMTA. As usual. Too bad that it didn't work. But I'm sure the new ones are great! Looking forward to them.
Oh, really? How strange - it just goes to show . . .
Indeed *Wry grin* I'm not so sure - not after seeing yours . . . But I'm enjoying making them, that is ALL that matters (all the should matter). Hopefully by the end of the week. I know what pics I want to use for 'Winter' so that shouldn't take that long to put together.
Actually, a wee bit of advice, if you don't mind. Is there a font you'd recommend uses for icons over others? I've played around with a variety, but haven't ever really found one that 'works'. And this will be vertical font, BTW.
Sometimes it's really strange. And even the colors are a bit different here. In PS they looked different (and Jethro hadn't had lipstick on his lips on AC05 *g*) But I think as a set of 20 icons they look okay.
And why did I know that you would say this? Don't feel insecure just because I posted my icons. Everyone has a different style and I know your icons are great! *hugs* Keep in mind what you wrote: Enjoying making them is ALL THAT MATTERS and nothing else!! *gibbs-stares at you* Okay?!?
An advice for text ... Oh, that's the wrong subject. I hate putting text on my icons and I never like it, when I do it. But there are a few tutorials that may help. A useful general tutorial and this one is even for PSP. For vertical font I would try to use Arial (Black), maybe Verdana or Georgia (depends on the size). Or Times New Roman?
Thank you! I'm glad you love them. I did my best to work with the not-so-good-caps and I have to admit this is one of the batches I like, too (normally, I don't like my stuff at all *sighs*)

In particular I love winter, laughing and AC5. But they are all so good.
Oddly enough the seasons are the kind of thing I had in mind, but it just wasn't working for me.

My faves are probably blending, laughing and lights although I think they're all great. You're so good at icon making!
