super excited!
i'm taking my board exam to get my license at 3pm today.
and then i'm driving 6 hours to go to Bonnaroo Music Festival and completely lose myself in the best weekend of music i've yet to experience in my life. the must-sees are:
The Police
Tool
The Roots
The Flaming Lips
DJ Shadow
Kings of Leon
Tortoise
Ben Harper
Ziggy Marley
Damien Rice
Regina Spektor
I will have to leave and miss Pete Yorn, Wilco, The Decemberists and Widespread Panic to make it back in time for work on Monday, but the other bands i WILL get to see MORE than make up for it. If you know me at all, you know this is a huge next few days. get my RN license, see some of my faves EVER...bliss. pure bliss is the only word for it. time to go make the liquor run and pack up before i pass this test and hit the road. wish me luck and safe travel!
