so tired
She finally started walking. I had to force her out of her comfort zone -making her stand up again and again- while simultaneously singing to her so she wasn't so scared.
Violet is a very cautious bean and just as I suspected, it's not that she couldn't walk, she's been terrified of walking without holding on to something. Yesterday she realized she can. The poor girl's body would tremble a little bit and her eyes would look up at me with a shade of panic.
So I told her it was okay and I'd give her a big hug when she'd reach me by foot. And she would wrap her arms around my neck and bury her face on my chest and kick her feet.
Yesterday she could walk 3 feet and today it was 6.
I love her.
