This morning (when I say this morning I mean saturday morning) I went and took the ACT. I think I did alright, particularly for not having prepared at all other than scanning the practice test the night before. Then I called my dad and waited out side for him to come and get me. Oh yeah, the test was at MSU. I saw a few people from Okemos like Katie G. but I didn't have time to talk to any one. When dad got there we went over to a skate shop to ask about a hockey camp for Noah. While were were there dad took the opportunity to salivate over some state of the art skates that he thinks will make him skate A LOT better. He finally let me go home and eat something before I starved and fainted dead away, compete with dramatic hand motions.
After lunch I practiced my violin for about an hour and a half or two hours. Then I slept for an hour and a half and ate dinner. At 6:30 I walked across the street to baby sit. Why do people have children? Why? This family has three. A ten year old boy who has a minor form of autism or something like it, a kindergarten age girl, and a three year old boy. I swear not one of them stopped talking the entire two and a half hours. I made them popcorn while they watched tv and when the littler two were done with their snack they decided it was a great idea to take their big brother's popcorn and put it in his hair and then dump the rest of it on the floor. Meanwhile the older brother is trying to explain his brackets for the basketball playoffs as well the entire history of everything associated with the Detroit pistons. The little boy keep eating popcorn after he brushed his teeth so I had to send him back to brush his teeth Over and over. The girl felt the need to show me every little piece of jewlrey and every sticker and every piece of candy she had ever gotten, this would not have been so bad had the other two mot been talking at the same time. They little two tried to play games but ended up in tears every time they did not win. This is possibly my favorite thing though, the three year old was talking to his sister and basically said "You remember Rachel that other babysitter? Remember when she used to come? Maybe next time she can come instead of her." Me being the "her". I feel loved. Oh well, they paid me, and I know I will be sitting for them again.
