Hello all.
It's time for my famous random updates. Life at times seems like the proverbial roller coaster - full of ups and downs. Right now, however, I am just relaxing in the peace provided my heavenly Father. I feel that I am growing spiritually. I believe God is in the process of answering my prayer for an accountability partner. While I am not completely certain yet that this is the opportunity He has for me, I am remaining hopeful and praying about this. I believe an accountability partner is what I need to truly make my relationship with Christ stronger, and hopefully the same will hold true for my partner.
I finished midterms last week. It seems completely crazy that I am one-quarter of the way done with my sophomore year of college. I believe I will be declaring my major when I register for the spring semester, with my major being business administration. I am not ruling out the possible of a criminal justice minor, but I want to do some more research on that before I decide. I am doing alright in my classes, not as well as I would like, though. My goal is nothing below B-. We'll see how it goes.
Lesley and I celebrated our two and a half year anniversary on October 6, so that is cool stuff. I really hate all the pressure people put on us/me to do the marriage thing. Just because everyone else is doing it does not mean it is right for me. I honestly want to graduate and live on my own for a year or two before I get married. I'm leaving this completely up to God and no one else. Just because everyone else is printing off their wedding invitations at the IWU Print Shop does not mean I will do the same anytime soon.
