I think I'll sit this one out
Tonight was a change of pace for me, but it was fun. I don't think I've ever gone to the movies with just my brother before tonight. Brad kept telling me (and others) that I had to see Napoleon Dynamite. Funny movie...I love low-budget ones. :) After that, Brad and I went to the Away With Vega concert at IWU. Pretty good show.
I want to get a new bass. Maybe with an improved guitar, I will improve. Improve enough to actually be good enough to play in a band. I just want the chance to try. I would like to get an electric guitar, too. I like my acoustic, but you can only do so much with it. I need distortion, baby!
Next weekend is James Dean Days. I can't wait. Good cars, good food, good friends, good times. Fairmount proves it can be fun at least one weekend out of the year.
I'm still struggling a lot with uncertainty. I thought I was doing better, but I'm not so sure now.
