What did you do in 2023 that you've never done before?
Mastered winter swimming in Lake Zurich with the Winterverein at Bad Utoquai, travelled to Iceland & learnt Icelandic.
Did you keep your New Years Resolutions and will you make more for next year?
Last year's resolutions were to blog daily, go AF and prioritize sleep. I didn't really keep any of these :-(
Did anyone close to you give birth?
No
Did anyone close to you die?
My lovely Dad died 15th Dec 2022 - still can't believe he's gone
We said goodbye in his funeral in Feb 2023
What countries did you visit?
Big year of travel - Lumbrein in CH, Paris France, London, Derby, Manchester in UK, Rekyavik and West Fjörds in Iceland.5
What would you like to have in 202 that you lacked in 2024?
A job (although I enjoyed the break)
What dates in 2024 will remain etched on your memory and why?
Leaving Credit Suisse on Feb 29th after 18 years
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Leaving CS with love in my heart and energy left.
What was your biggest failure?
I don't think I had one as such
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope, was pretty healthy this year (thanks to not working and no stress!)
What was the best thing you bought?
my airfare to Iceland!
Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My CS friends who kept in touch, XR
Where did most of your money go?
Travel, taxes and savings
