sweet freedom, alas!
I spent the majority of my day yesterday unpacking and organizing. Yes, 5 months of living back east and I still had boxes stacked.. ;) Robert and I were going to wait until the basement was finished before we started to unpack so that it would be easier carrying things down there and we'd have to deal with unpacking once and once only. Well, things [of course] didn't happen as planned, he moved out and I'm just going to stay upstairs, so I ended up unpacking the boxes, repacking his stuff and putting mine out and organizing it. Finally, my room feels cozy and feels like ME. Its nice to get my room, closet, and bureau to myself and not have to hear someone BITCH about how I have too many clothes, shoes and purses. WEEEEEEEEE! :)
I'm getting used to being single, although, Rob and I still talk everyday, it's nice to have to only worry about myself. I don't have to think where he is, what he's doing, who he's with.. cuz frankly, I don't care. heh. and I'm not supposed to, right? I think that this break up is good for the two of us.. he gets to grow up without having someone HELP him and I get to be independent again and keep going on my path to being strong and well, kicking ass at whatever comes my way! For right now, it's good to still have him in my life and until I find happiness elsewhere, he's still my best friend and my rock. In the future, we'll see what happens.
I had way to much to drink lastnight so I'm flushing out my body with liquids galore. Vodka is amazing when you want to have a good time, however. I just wish that our Saturday night bar DIDN'T have karaoke, I lack in self control with that around. :)
I have a two week break of working 2 jobs. Campanella's was on vacation from Christmas until Thursday. I go back to work there on Friday and from Monday until the 15th the Bakery is on vacation. Sucky for a lack of funds but AMAZING to be able to rest!
Well, I'm gonna continue with my lessons on the proper way of doing laundry [my Mother gave me a lecture on how I do it wrong, don't you love it? lol] Hope New Years is good to all of you! Be safe...
