1. Work/Programming
Work is moving along work-like. Meeting, meeting, meeting, meeting. You know with all these meetings it’s amazing any work ever gets done.

On a programming-but-not-work-related note, the tablet weaving editor at Webbriefeditor http://www.b-oberholz.de/editor/index.php stopped working. I think I have the programming chops to write a replacement. More to follow.

I finally settled on monica.l.stroud@gmail.com as my new email address. Now I just need to go through all the motions of getting everything updated. It’s a good thing I only need to do this once because WOW migrating email addresses(and all the google apps) is a PITA.

2. Home/Erik

My baby is adorable. I’m totally smitten.

Less shrieking this week. We think he’s almost figured out how to turn over. Fearghus says he’ll put Erik down in one place and with reaching for toys and wiggling around he’ll end up facing the complete opposite direction after a little while.

3. Health
On Tuesday morning I got up and completed most of the C25K Week 1 run/walk. I say most because at about the 23 minute mark my treadmill dies. Luckily it turns out I’d only tripped the GFI, but I was worried. Wednesday I woke up with a nasty headache and decided it was a better idea to sleep an extra hour instead of doing a run/walk. Then finally on Friday, this morning, I got up and did my run/walk for C25K again. This time the treadmill didn’t die. My plan is to do the day 3 walk on Sunday and then go on to week 2 next week.

Weight this week was good I end the week at 298.3 which is 0.2 lbs lower than last Friday.

4. SCA/Projects
After waffling about it for a while we have finally decided we are going to Crown. This means I need to get on the ball if I’m planning to get anything done for Crown. I’m thinking about submitting something to the Wreath of Athena display but I’m coming up blank as to what to display. I’ll need to mull this over for a while.

This week I made only tiny progress on projects. I added a couple more eyelets to the brown kirtle and finished 1.5 of the seams on the gold Anglo-Saxon tunic(commute project). Erik has not been cooperating in the evenings to give me some uninterrupted time to work on Bob’s Waffe.. but I think I’ll get a chance to do that a bit on this coming Sunday.

Project list:
1. Bob’s Waffenrock. Pattern is done need to make mockup.
2. Finish adding eyelets to the front of my brown wool kirtle. I managed to add about 3 more eyelets to this. Slow and steady I guess.
3. Gold Anglo-Saxon hand-sewn tunic. Finished one seam and started another.
4. Pennsic is coming. Pennsic project list: 2 tunics for Fearghus, 3 kitles for me, coifs and garb for Erik.

5.

Brigands
This last weekend we participated in a film project. My husband (center in green) is cast as the leader of the brigands. I think this picture is bad-ass and I can’t wait to see the final cut of the film.
