No Con for us until tomorrow, but what we done today and the journey here.
Started out flying from Terminal 5 in Heathrow. Bloody hell that building is *huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge*
Didn't get to sit together which sucked. I was sitting next to PSP Lady, who spent the whole flight either watching Farscape on her PSP, reading something on her E-book reader or listening to her iPod. On the other side was Blanket Man who slept most of the flight with his blanket over his head.
In flight entertainment rocked. I watched the new Jonathan Creek that I hadn't seen, The Thick of It (3rd series, the radio interview episode, my favourite!), The Losers, How I Met Your Mother (the episode where they hang out in Stella's basement), Frasier(when Frasier goes through the 5 stages of grief when he loses his job), The Big Bang Theory(The Friend Ship Algorithm), The Impressions Show, Michael Macintyre's Comedy Roadshow and listened to I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and Bleak Expectations. That was only a fraction of the things that I wanted to watch!
At one point we flew over... possibly Greenland. Not sure. But it was pretty and there was snow. And PSP Lady let me take a photo:
Anyway got to Phoenix. Love the airport, it's called Sky Harbor. What a name. Then veryberry19 got her sun cream *that she bought airside* confiscated. And then our flight was delayed about 40 minutes. Finally got to San Diego around about 9.30 (or 5.30 am to us).
The hotel is amazing!
2 Queen beds, giant tv. And a balcony.

The view at night:
We can see a Hooters from our room. This amuses us greatly:
Another view from the hotel:
So today, we got up and went to Denny's for breakfast. Mmmmmmmm pancakes.
And bacon with maple syrup. Om nom nom.
Then we crossed the road. There are death roads. The crossings are trying to kill you I swear! What kind of logic is it where you let people walk when there is a filter lane allowed to turn into the road they are crossing??
We wandered around. Lots of shops. We went to borders and I bought Vile Bodies which I have been looking for for the longest time.
There was a cinema and we decided to come back later and see Toy Story. I cried.
We ate dinner in Ruby's Diner that had a Terrifying Rotating Lady in the middle.
Nice food though.
And now we are back to watch Castle.
Also, my phone is playing up. Being an arse about sending messages, so probably won't be able to give twitter updates. 'Fraid you'll have to wait for my nightly updates.
Sorry for brevity, but I am v tired and want to finish this before Castle.
