Two thumbs
In honor of 09/09/09 we went to see both '9' and 'District 9' yesterday. We weren't really fans of either, especially the later which girl dragged me to insisting that the reviews were fantastic. I liked the creatures in '9,' but there wasn't a whole lot of story, or rather if stupid things hadn't been done, there wouldn't have been a story. I almost got stuff to make my own set of creatures today at Michaels when I found burlap, but then I remembered that the hands were way too detailed to just slap something together all willy-nilly.
BUT, there were more previews we want to see, some that I forgot to mention last time. Don't think these are all theatre worthy, but definitely Netflix if nothing else: Law Abiding Citizen, Shutter Island, Legion, Fame, Vampires Assistant, and of course Wild Things.
