It's the time of the season
One skein of yarn brought on my excitement for Fall today. I was wandering Michaels waiting for girl to finish up at Home Depot. I'm such a bad lesbian, I detest any kind of home improvement store. Anyway, I was finding lots of stuff I wanted, but nothing I needed until I walked into the yarn section and found the most lovely homespun yarn. I don't know how to describe it other than jewel tones (purple, green, ruby, gold, orange) all vibrant and very much reminding me of autumn. I'll post pictures when I finish the scarf I started tonight. I began looking forward to the season and changed all my avatars and desktop background to reflect my anticipation. I always like this time of year but usually let my hatred of winter overshadow any joy. I dread driving in the winter, but this year I'm going to try not to think about it and just face each storm as it happens. I’m ready, bring on the harvest season!
