OMFG
We just got back from seeing RENT at the local theatre. We saw it on Broadway a few years ago and this cast was at or above that caliber. I want to go back to every show until it closes Sunday. What an amazing way to finish off the season. I was in love with the girl who played Joanne and part of the ensemble stole the show with her huge (but well controlled) voice. I teared up more than once and so many in the cast had tears wetting their cheeks by the end of the performance which was very touching.
We were lucky enough to run in to most of the cast at Wegmans on the way home and conveyed our gratitude and how amazing they were. The woman from the ensemble grabbed our hands and was sincerely thankful for the compliments. She is studying at Juilliard and I can't wait to see where the future leads her.
