Goseiger
lol awww the way Hyde and Nozomu were watching the others at the beginning was like parents watching their kids fondly. And then Hyde... initiates physical contact with Eri? Man, has he ever been the first to actually affectionately touch someone before? He's usually the one getting touched.

I totally thought GoseiRed getting the crap kicked out of him was hot. /o\ I also love Alata using that pole trick he learnt a few episodes ago again, that's some awesome continuity. Actually that's something I really like about Gosei, how it remembers stuff like that (and Alata's injury in the first few episodes).

Skick angst is ridiculous. Did Alata and Eri seriously hike up a cliff so Alata could scream moodily? lol. Still, it's great that Hyde has the ability to become instantly dry the moment he leaves a body of water.

Next week: yesssss an episode about Alata and Eri being awesome bffs. Is that a flashback I see? :D? :D?

Notes: In which Agri and Moune discover video games.

Agri was smiling.

But that could mean anything. Agri had a wide variety - over a hundred to replace the fact he couldn’t make any other expression, Moune had joked before - of smiles for any occasion. He smiled when he was happy, of course, big beaming affairs that lit up his entire face, but when he was angry the corners of his mouth would twitch too, his eyes would widen and he’d bare his teeth in what looked to a stranger like an ordinary grin but was in fact a neon warning sign to duck, take cover. He smiled through his tears when he was unhappy, the insincere curve of his lips never quite reaching his eyes.

Moune had learnt to tell the difference between Agri’s one hundred smiles, which was why she could tell at a glance that Agri was about to burst with poorly controlled irritation.

“You really suck at this, Onii-chan,” she said, tongue between her teeth.

Agri leaned forward, thumbs flying across the buttons of the controller in his hand desperately. “My guy doesn’t move like I want him to move,” he said through gritted teeth.

Moune flashed a feline smile in his direction. She didn’t even have to look at the screen to know her own pixellated character was beating the crap out of Agri’s.

It had been a week since Alata and Eri had unearthed Nozomu’s stash of video games. Moune had immediately zoned in on the sizeable collection of fighting games, getting Agri to play with her whenever the Skicks weren’t using Nozomu’s console to play Pretty Princess Pony Flash Dress-up Extravaganza. Yet while Moune quickly learned which button was kick and which was punch, Agri remained a hopeless novice. Actually, it was kind of frustrating. Even Hyde was a more challenging opponent and he’d only agreed to play against her once, after inspecting his controller suspiciously for the longest fifteen minutes of Moune’s life.

Moune glanced back at the screen, where Agri’s character’s lifebar was rapidly emptying, and smirked. Deftly pressing a few buttons at once she delivered what Nozomu called a “combo attack” and Alata called “that thing that always makes Agri look like he’s going to cry” and Agri groaned loudly as his own character collapsed in a defeated heap.

“Only took me three minutes this time,” Moune concluded, grabbing Agri’s wrist and sneaking a look at his watch. “You know the deal: you clean my room for a week.”

Agri’s returning smile was the rarely seen holding-back-tears-of-frustration half-grimace.
