I do think they film very fast, especially when they're out on location. I imagine they try to minimize that time not only due to cost, but it also imposes on the businesses and home owners in the area when they're filming.
I've heard comments made about scenes that felt "off" to fans being talked about by actors at cons. One actress said she hated how a scene played out because it looked like "my teammate is still tied to a chair, but ignore him, I'm getting engaged at this very moment." She and the rest of the cast were willing to reshoot to make that play a little better by making her or an extra be shown untying the team member. The director nixed it, saying it was close enough.
I'm paraphrasing from what I recall of her comments, but I think that's a huge problem behind those moments that seem off. It's close enough, especially if it's at the end of a long day and you're ready to go home. I understand that in the real world, but it is annoying when it shows up on TV and will be that way forever.
