Spoiler TV: Merlin Episode 3.03 - Press Release

I dare any Merlin fans to read that and not think it's going to be awesomely entertaining. The actors probably had way too much fun.

The family refers to my left foot as my snow hoof. I had it surgically broken years ago and now it pretty darn accurately predicts snow. My knees predict rain pretty well and now since developing the migraine issue storms have become a problem there. Hurricane Earl left me dizzy for about 24 hours. I too am afraid to fly, especially after my neurologist told me it could definitely be an issue.

My friend cracked her lower leg while skiing years ago, and while it doesn't really predict cold weather, it certainly protests when we have it.

The first time I had an attack while flying was back in 1999. We flew direct to London and I did fine, but we were on the ground for about an hour before flying to Edinburgh. I figure it was triggered by two flights in quick succession which didn't allow for a "reset" of the pressure in my ears.

I was literally folded up in the seat at one point mentally chanting "Scotland is worth it." It also screwed up my internal navigation system for days when we got there, which sucked because out of the three of us, I'm the only one who has internal navigation. There for a while, I was sure we were going to get lost in the Highlands, because it was raining so much I couldn't even get a fix by using the sun. Good thing there's GPS now.

I completely understand being a barometer. I spent a good bit of this past miserable winter with a splitting headache (and sometimes a migraine) thanks to the consistent bad weather. Unfortunately, my agony doesn't have much predictive value because by the time it arrives full force, so has the weather.

I've done the barometer thing pretty much all my life. Used to be just a mild headache, probably with sinus issues, but now with migraines as a possible complication, I never know what level of pain to expect. Sometimes, it doesn't trigger when I think it should, so who knows?

I haven't been watching since the first episode of the second season, and I think I might catch this one. It seems good, silly fun that I don't need recent continuity, kind of in the way that "200" didn't need the 9th and 10th season of Stargate to appreciate.

Continuity is a fluid thing with the show anyway. I get the feeling they're not quite sure where they're going, mostly because they don't know how long they have to stretch out the story, but they're having fun getting there.
