I did not know that
Atomic Blonde is based on a graphic novel until I was looking to see if there was an official soundtrack. There's not, just the new version of
Blue Monday by HEALTH. Though there is a playlist on Spotify, but I think it's just someone who created it from the songs used in the trailers. Not that that's a bad thing.
The graphic novel is
The Coldest City by Antony Johnston, and there's also a prequel,
The Coldest Winter. They're available in print and eBook, or you can do like I did and put in an interlibrary loan request. The Coldest City is on its way to me already, and will cost me a whopping $1.50.
I'm curious to see if the movie ends up being a "vaguely insired by" adaptation, or if all the ass kicking and bisexual action is on the page.
