my classes so far have been exhausting. they all seem like they're going to be a challenge but i think i can handle it. i'm kind of excited about it all, at least that's what i'm telling myself.
photo II is going to be awesome. i'm already working on my first project. we have to pick a photographer, recreate one of their photographs, and use their style for four other photos. i'm recreating one of masao yamamoto's photographs. his work is amazing. he uses an aging technique where he'll scratch, tear, fold, tone using tea, and bleach his prints, which are only 3x5 inches, to make them look old. it's beautiful.
