friday night i found, what seemed like, an abandoned cat in an empty parking lot. i took it home, gave it food, and i'm amazed at how awesome this cat is. it has a collar and tag, so this morning i called the hospital and they gave me the owners phone number. before i called i imagined whoever owns this cat must be going crazy and their children must be weeping their little eyes out because their kitty is lost forever. this was not the case. the owner, susan and her husband, don't even live here but in CHARLOTTE. they are building a home on folly. she told me to drop the cat off outside at the house they don't live in and the workers will feed him.
so now i'm going to take the sweetest cat i've ever met and drop him off in the heat at a building site where he may or may not get fed for these people who may or may not care.
