(no subject)
Being an Asian in Delaware isn't easy. As a kid, you're kind of confused why no one else looks like you, and it's just not too cool. My childhood wasn't too horrible since I was exposed to chinatown goodness and attending chinese school for two years or so. That was about it. My parents don't have too many friends, especially since they were busy with the restaurant. Plus none of their friends have kids my age. I wish I could have stayed involved in chinese school and the events at the chinese community center. I wish I could have made friends who could share a similar background. Umm...okay this doesn't make much sense. Not sure how to exactly write how I feel.
