Homey say what?
I'm having a crisis of life here. I just realized my parents are getting old. Now I have known for a while that my mom was showing her age: she's been unwell for too long a time not to have started looking a little older than she really ought. But I noticed the other day that she now walks with the old lady shuffle. When did that happen?! And my uncle is suddenly getting that hairy old fart thing going on. The length of his eyebrow- and nose-hair is really rather terrifying. And even my dad, with his lifelong battle against aging - he's such a woman about that stuff - is starting to have that bulldoggy old man look on his face. Sure he's oddly wrinkle-free at 61, but he still manages to look more like a grumpy old man with a facelift than the vibrant young man he's trying look like. It's just weirding me out to think that my parents are already looking old even though I feel like I've barely even begun living. It's just weird!
