Tonight, as I was walking home from seeing "In the Valley of Elah" with Mel, I was listening to the new (to me) BSB in my iPod, and 'Downpour' came on. And, oddly, it began to rain just as the song came on, and tapered off almost as soon as the song had ended. It wasn't a strong rain. More of a determined mist, really. But I found it sincerely amazing because of the circumstances. And it was so BEAUTIFUL! There were no clouds. None. The moon was barely above the horizon off to the east (ish) and the stars were just gorgeously hanging out in the heavens. And here comes this soft rain, barely a whispered suggestion of rain, just as 'Downpour' begins, and tapering off as the last notes play. It was profound. Magical, even. I just needed to share that.
