Okay, I think that this show is absolutely amazing. It has been my favorite show ever since I started watching it. Granted, I missed most of the first season and had to download it before the second season's premire. I love the brother-brother interaction that Sam and Dean have, and it's one of the main reasons I watch the show. That, coupled with the fact that the supernatural and paranormal has always facinated me and loving the way they created episodes from it, is why "Supernatural" is such an amazing show. I love the way that Sam and Dean interact with each other. The bantering back and forth, the protectiveness, the teamwork, the fighting, the compassion and love they have for each other and show in the own way. Yes...that is why I love this show. This close bond that they have with one another is what draws me to this show as well as to "Prison Break" and "Lord of the Rings"(for Aragorn+Legolas) and to their fanfiction as well. Yes, I am a fanfiction reader. It is my escape from the reality that I live in and allows me to experience the shows more and more, even when the show itself is over.
And due to the fact that I love the interation and relationship of Dean and Sam so much, I do not wish to see a permanent female love interest to impose her way into their lives. Ones that last an episodes or less are acceptable, but Jo is another situation entirely. I did not like her from the moment she was introduced. She looks like she is in high school. WAY to young for Dean, or even Sam though it's Dean she's interested in, and there's something off about her. I do not wish to see a relationship or romance blossom between her and one of the brothers. I think any permanent or long term relationship in the show would take away from chemistry I love so much about the brothers. So no, I have no love or liking for Jo. Ellen, Jo's mom, was an interesting character and I liked her, until the latest episode "Simon Says". I think there is something Ellen is hiding. She acted strangly and delved to deep into Sam's visions. I don't think he should have told her. There's something off about her too. And not to sound too harsh, I hope Jo doesn't survive long in the show. And that is my current thoughts on "Supernatural".
**Predictions for 10/30/06's "Prison Break" episode: I don't think Michael will get caught, and he sure as hell better not get shot. I think T-Bag may attempt to kill the woman that turned him in. C-Note may be the next one to get caught. We haven't seen anything from the escapee from the psych ward and the dog this past episode. Linc and LJ are probably gonna attempt to rejoin Michael. Sarah will not get killed yet, though I don't like her paired with Michael romantically. And Sucre may get caught while attmepting to rejoin Maricruz, which is dumb because he should know that the cops are probably tailing her. That's all for tonight. We'll see what happens tonight's episode.**
Goddess Bless.
