Today is my birthday, and Thomas sent a lovely cake with no calories: daisies, carnations, mums and a red rose on top. V. wonderful, especially since one inevitably ate too much chocolate the night before.

Saturday we had a demo in conjunction with a little Ren Faire put on by El Segundo High School. We had nearly twenty people, a good representation of SCA activities, lots of interest from the crowd, and possibly a new bass for Serenissima.
