Stop kidding yourselves.

When are people going to learn that High school never ends? No, it never stops happening, you don't leave high school on your final day and there is no more drama. There is no end to ex-girlfriends or ex-boyfriends hounding you to get back together, nor is there closure to the one that got away. Also, no you're best friends will not stop talking shit on you behind your back, and you won't stop making fun of them when they are off with their significant other. And guess what, when you go to college, you don't do whatever you want. Yes, you have to take classes you don't want to take. There's math class, there's science class, english class, even gym. It's high school but you live there. Or as my friend once said, "Glorified summer camp." Which is cool, I always liked summer camp. Except for arts and crafts, no one likes arts and crafts. Besides the prissy girls, and that one boy who's friends with all the girls and sleeps in the girls bunk. You think he'd be the gay one, but no he's the kid who fucked the prom queen. Yeah, go figuere!

Hey, but it's not all bad, you get your freedom that you've waited 18 years of your pre-adult life for. This means you pay for everything. Pops ain't buying you that pair of kicks you want, and mom's not filling your gastank.

You learn this quick.

You can get drunk and high every night, how cool is that? No parents means no rules, so that means get as fucked up as possible, right? Yeah, it loses its edge kiddos, and you'll some come to realize that losing control of every bodily function is not as fun as you once thought it would be. Especially when people don't give a shit that you are doing it. Yeah, that always ruins it doesn't it?

It's good though, you grow up, don't rush it though. Enjoy what you've got, because for the next 4 year (or longer for kids like myself) you've got an easy ride at being free and not worrying about the elctricty or water bill.

Not speaking down, of course, college is a good time, you sleep in every day, do little to no homework, and specn about 15 to 17 hours a week total in class.

You're girlfriend is still going to be pissed when you talk to that cute girl who sits next to you in your computer class. We are jealous creatues, this will never change, and people need to realize that.

Drama is life. It's staying up all night crying because you can't have what you want, it's smiling when the sun paints your face with its rays while you watch the sunset off a cliff on a mild may afternoon. Drama is losing what you love before you have a chance to realize you appreciate it.

Drama is becoming one with another mind. Allowing yourself to feel through another's skin, breath their breath from their own lips, and look beyond the mirrors that rest in the center of their eyes. Once, this happened to me. Who knows if it will happen again. If this hasn't happened to you, it will. You'll know when it does. Then it will end. That's life, too.

My friend Joe made me think about all this stuff while at work. Wow, this journal is bringing out my sappy side. This will never happen again. I promise you.

Unless this makes girls want me.

"we kiss goodnight with a firm handshake and it's lights out for catholic computers. this is fantastic for you. i've been up at nights to paint the house ghost white. this is fantastic."
