Exciting New Things

I went to a seminar today to "learn how to be an activist". I spent 2 hours at the Botanical Center learning more about the global warming issue and what I can do to help. Several days ago I got to meet with Mayor Frank Cownie and talked to him about what he is doing to help the problem. He joined an agreement with many other mayors around the US who are working to make their cities meet the standards of the Kyoto Treaty. I encourage anyone who is reading this to take the time to think about the kinds of effects this issue is going to have on our generation. I encourage people to ask our presidential candidates about what they are going to do about global warming. What they are going to do about lowering the CO2 emissions. What they are going to do to support the new fuel technologies we have. And many other things that relate to this issue.

I had a reinstatement interview several days ago in Iowa City. And....I got back in. Needless to say, I was pretty excited. Only 5 months until i move back to iowa city. Wow. I cannot wait. I want to get back into the swing of things. I want to figure out my future. I want to go into engineering, and I need to talk to my advisor to get a plan figured out. There's so many things to do, but it is so exciting.

Oh yeah, I love March. It is my favorite month, and im enjoying myself very much. Spring break occurs in this month, spring comes, st. patricks day is pretty fun, and my birthday. Plus after this month is over, i really only have a month left of DMACC.

Yay.
