A day filled with renewal of hope for my future driving, peeshness, traffic light gift giving, and $2 japanese learning.
I renewed my Learner's Permit for the 3rd time having never gone for my practical test. Eh.
And my fellow co-worker Rhys, and I finally received our custom made shirts from Cafepress.com, of our weird and wacky word we made "Peesh" with the slogan we also created "...its french"
And here is Rhys cheerfully modelling a thong we also ordered for our other co-worker for her 21st birthday. I designed a logo on the front with her name on it.
When I was going home with Mum from Rhys's house to give him the shirts, we saw Kaylie (the co-worker who is getting the thong for her birthday) drive past so we followed her. Then when she stopped at the lights, we waited at the other the lane next to her.
Since I had the thong with me in a little pouch, I got Mum to throw it at her friend who was in the car with Kaylie, but because it was so light, it just fell on the ground. Luckily, the lights were still red, and I insisted her friend get out of the car to pick it up.
While Kaylie opened it she of course asked, what the hell it is. As soon as she pulled it out, she screamed with happiness, and then the lights when green, and off we went!
Very interesting way to give someone a present!
I also tried to sell a "B mobile plan deal with the newest Motorla model" to a telemarketer, and when he refused to take my "deal", I promptly replied that I was not interested in what he was to sell me. My sister and I have had this idea for ages - when a telemarketer rings up to sell you something, you immediately try and sell them something back. Quite silly I supposed but damn, it was funny.
From our local Red Cross Op Shop, Mum found a Japanese language learning kit that was orginally discarded from the library. A set of tapes, with a very well layed out teaching book, and for some reason, a japanese edition of a Beatrix Potter story which I am pretty sure is "Mrs. Twiggywinkle". All of it was $2.00! Score!
Huzzah for random activites today!
