Spring comes early in my part of the world. Valentine's Day, mid-February, and already the cherry trees are in radiant bloom. These gorgeous double-petal sakura saplings grow in my church's front yard. I took these photos on Sunday.

Well. I went to Fanime all day. And it was okay, but you know what? by evening I was really bored. Wandering in the dealer's hall, all I could think was - huh, Japan was cooler.
