I'm planning for it, but the future still scares the bejeasus out of me.
I'm finaly getting better. Today for the first time in near a week I woke without a sore throat. That was cause enough for celibration. However, after doing a lot of hot walking around in an antique store with my mother I realise I don't have that much energy. I feel really wiped for the rest of the day.
The big news is that Aaron and I will be takeing a bit of a road trip. He is flying down here to do a job for my dad, some tec writing for a new computer program. After he does that we will be driving up to Madison together in a rented truck with a bunch of furniture for the new appartment. With that in mind my Mom and I are doing a lot of shopping for used stuff. Our big sucess was dishes. If you need dishes I strongly suggest you go to the salvation army, or something simmilar, as if you go to a big one they can have really amazingly good sets. I now have a nearly full service for 8 of very nice thick china. It has a lovely water-color looking foxglove print on it, and a lilac color to some of the sausers and insides of the cups. Absolutely charming. I also got some white plates to round out the set. I think that the pastels, with white and with the black bowls I own will look striking and modern, rather then fussy. Today I got some big black with light colored iris patten napkins I think will round things out. We also got lots of cups or juice and soda and six wineglasses in three diffrent veriaties. We don't drink wine, but they are nice to have. I also got a virtualy unused crock pot.
We are going furniture shopping tomorrow with Katie which should be fun. All this is really exiting and intimidating. This isn't normal shopping, it's getting things I'll be using forever. My parents have tons of stuff they bought when they first got married. Aaron and I will be moveing into a place where we will be staying for at least two years. Hell, I may bring a baby, of all things, back to it eventualy. We actualy had a conversation about weather the oversized, carpeted kitchen could be devided in half and used for a nursery. HOLY SHIT. I am not ready for that.
For now, though, its all about looking for a kitchen table that can be used for gameing. I can handel that.
