[Today is Naruto's birthday. And because of that, he's in a pretty good mood while he wanders around his own apartment and looking through the journals. For some reason, he's expecting a happy birthday or two to surface, but he's content with just reading whatever the heck he stumbles upon while skimming.

[Yeah, a kunai is more than enough to stop the cat in its tracks as if it nearly just ran into a kunai and died. But this is clearly only true until it finds an opening to get the hell outta there and away from Tenten.

Besides, what did that cat ever do to you? [ Somewhere deep in Tenten's head is the thought that is his birthday but if she allowed people to do whatever they wished on their birthday, January First might as well be the day Konoha becomes the village hidden in the spandex. So she'll just bring it up after she solves this cat problem.

Someone has to maintain sanity/responsibility/focus and that person is ultimately Tenten. ]

[Good thing that cat is terrified of those weapons that Tenten happens to have, because she's staying put for once. Her life flashed before her eyes, clearly.]

I usually am. [ And she nods her head again. YES SHE HAS WON. ] Yep. Ramen is a part of Chinese food, and it originated there so I learned how to make some. I have all of the ingredients Naruto, and it won't be that big of a deal. After all, it is your birthday.

Whatever, he'll be slowly walking up to the cat and crouching down to stare at her. It's a hard, long stare and meant to tell the cat "DON'T YOU DARE" as he picks her up. Let's hope that's enough for now.
