Beer Cheer 18: Samichlaus

When I first tasted this brew, I told a friend that it was like licking heaven. Indeed, the rare "Samichlaus" beer is instantly a favorite of mine. Despite the hearty 14% content, it is quite easy on the tongue and nose. Dude, if you like Samichlaus, you really need to get yourself some St. Bernardus. If not the Abt 12, then at least the Prior 8 or Pater 6.

I would also recommend Trois Pistoles, Maudite, and La Fin du Monde by Unibroue. You can usually find at least one of the Unibroues at any ABC.

I learned of St. Bernardus from you and sought it out; it's one of my favorites! Thus far I've had the St. Bernardus Abt 12 and their double. I'll keep your list in mind, as your last recommendation proved excellent.
