Guess what I got at the market today?
Morels! Great big fresh morels from my mushroom guy. I got about 3, each almost as big as my palm, for about $5.
Morels, ramps, wild arugula, bread, cheese, edible flowers, mesclun greens (lunch along with the cheese and some bread for lunch today)!
Oh my!
ETA: Word is the morels are going to be $100/lb on Saturday. Today they are about $42. Get 'em today if you can :)
