I just think of what I eat as "a lot of protein and vegetables, and hopefully not too much processed junk* or grains." I'm still not used to being thought of as a "big, strong guy" (because, at five eight and a buck eighty***, I'm just not that big! *laugh*).
Honestly, I have gone for weeks on end eating grilled chicken for everything except breakfast (I will happily marinate it in just about anything I like the taste of; zesty Italian dressing with a splash of Tony Chachere's creole seasoning is about the most perfect no-brains-required bit of deliciousness in my repertoire), and stock up like whoah when it's on sale** at my local supermarket.
* Humongous exception for my workout supplements, natch, but I do try to aim for ones that use simpler composition and compounds/ingredients I've read the salient research on for their efficacy in supporting my goals.
** I appear to suffer from some kind of $4 threshold issue; I won't pay more than that for a gallon of gas or a pound of chicken breast, and it's been hanging out at $4.49 at Publix for the last month, and my work/travel schedule has precluded me getting to the aforementioned butcher shop to reload.
