first new york moooovie....
so on friday night, i sat around waiting for all of my friends to return my calls when finally they all respond at the same time... argh! so i decided to go to a movie with my friend sean from ball state. we met up at the loew's theatre (only about 3 blocks from me!!) and saw ocean's 13... now, i've never been to a REAL movie theatre before. i say this because seeing a movie in indiana is completely different from seeing a movie in new york. first of all, the theatre is in what looks like a perfectly normal building. i paid my $11 for the ticket (hold on, don't freak out yet!) and we road 3 escaltors up to the 4th floor. now, i didn't understand how giant movie screens could fit in this building but boy did they!
we went into our theatre (#9 or 12) and the screen was HUGE!! i'd imagine it was probably twice the size of the ones we see in indiana. the seats were soo comfortable, and the sound and picture were so pretty it was astonishing. i'd say it was totally worth being twice the price!! ocean's 13 was very funny, i highly recommend it. ... and previewed rush hour 3 -- ohhh yeahhh!!!
anyways, tonight i'm going out with the girls. margaritas first then out on the town!! i'm wearing a new dress i bought the other day for $10!! yeah, 10 dollars in new york city - and no sales tax!! and i can't wait!! its gonna be a good one.
