Have a mouse problem. Need a cat that can get rid of them. Where to go, what to do...please help. Doesn't have to be a free cat, but somewhere under 200 hundred bucks, so long as the cat likes to gnaw on mice. Cat will be taken care of, of course. How many of you here have had bedbugs? How long did you have them for, what was the damage, and what did it take to get rid of them?

I haven't gotten them... yet... but I've been seeing a lot of roadside mattresses in the East Village. I guess it's only a matter of time.

Does anyone know of a renters' insurance plan in NYC that covers belongings destroyed by bedbug infestation? (Based on Googling, I think the answer is no, but I'm not sure how old the information I dug up was.)

What do you do about mice?
Hubby plugged up every hole he could find with steel wool.  There's poison behind our fridge and oven, I don't want to put it anywhere else, I have a dog and two little kids, so it's just not safe.
So what do I do? 
Traps?  A cat?  Some other fabulous solution of which I am unaware?
