i didn't see it in the tags, so i don't know if (but i'm sure it has or should have) been talked about...
sidewalk rules:
1. don't spit on the ground right in front of me
2. if you are on the outside of the sidewalk (near the street) don't let the urge to shop at OMG make you dart across 3 rows of people walking to get those jeans that are 2 sizes too small...
3. don't stop in the middle looking up with that "where am i?" look...move to the side of the building out of the flow of traffic...
4. if there are 5 of you, don't walk all side by side on busy sidewalks...especially during rush hour.
5. just respect the flow of traffic and realize that you aren't the only ones on the sidewalk and no one really wants to see you in your cute new shoes and/or sunglasses that are too big for your face.
sorry i had to get those out...if NY is considered one of the friendliest places, the surveyers must have missed walking down the street in midtown, or nt as uptight as me...
but hey i know i'm uptight, and am sure i'm not the only one here who thinks these things
