But to address your point, I completely agree. These books offer so much. Yes, they are children's books, but maybe that's the point. Maybe they're teaching the simplest lessons that kids need to learn early. And maybe they started being targeted to an adult audience who reached out because they needed to learn too. From these books, we can all learn about the power of love, friendship, and acceptance. We learn the necessity to fight for freedom and righteousness and the price we may have to pay. These books have touched so many people. More than just being an escape to a magical world, they can be a window into a world where good does triumph over evil. Yes, these books did make me hope for a Hogwarts letter, but they also made me hope for a better world. I hope we can all learn from Harry, Ron, Hermione, and every single person in that book: good or bad. I know I did.

I completely and 100% agree. I know the reaosn why these books are such a phenomenon are because there seems to be this need in the world for something MORE. I just wish people would get that sometimes you have to make the more yourself.
