1 pound is AWESOME and FANTASTIC and you should be really proud!
I think that with all the huge weight loss on TV and everything, that we don't really appreciate how much work goes into losing a pound. Look at a pound of butter (4 sticks). Then imagine that block of fat missing from your body.
That means that you ate/burned 500 calories less than you needed EVERY DAY this week! Go you! =D
And think... if you do this every week for a year, that's 50 pounds! Those pounds add up if you stick to it!
I can't watch weight loss stuff on TV. Biggest Loser just ticks me off because it's so unrealistic for everyday life. I think that smaller goals will help me stay focused and appreciate a loss, even if it's less than a pound!
A pound is awesome!! Congrats!! Just think of it, you LOST!! That wasn't a gain! Every little bit counts, even if it seems small, those small ones add up, just like pennies!
