Time for some measurements!
Chest: 48 in
Waist: 42 in
Hips: 53 in
Neck 16 in
Upper Right Arm: 16.5 in
Right thigh: 25 in
So here's the total inches lost:
Since last month: 5 inches! Boo-yah!
Since I started my weight loss journey: 25 inches
I am a little bummed that I gained an inch on my hips, but I feel like it's hard to get a good accurate measurement there. My tummy has loose skin that hangs down a bit. I'm not sure whether to measure that excess as my hips or not, so I have been counting it just to be safe.
Either way, I've lost 5 inches so far this year. That's great! I'm really eager to find out what I weigh, but I am dreading it. Last time I weighed myself, it was the beginning of November. I weighed 271. I will have access to the same scale in about a week. I am really hoping that I weigh under 265 by then; that's my goal. If I weigh less than 255.2, I will wet myself. That was the lowest I got since taking my 9 month hiatus. Of course, anything lower than that would be even more awesome. The lowest I got while on this journey was 257. I'm determined to get there and pass it.
I'm thinking that my first short term goal will be 250 pounds. When I was a senior in high school, I had to get a physical for marching band. I remember stepping on the scale, seeing 254 and being horrified. Who knew that I would be so grateful to be down to that weight again?
